Basement Cinema
The Build
The orchard house was built back in the 1800s and the basement had been tanked to make it usable a couple of years ago. This meant we required careful framing of the basement to incorporate a low profile in-wall solution to maximise the width and provide the customer with a high fidelity cinema solution featuring 7.1.4 Atmos solution.

Seamless Control
Customer Testimony
Andy and his team have been brilliant from start to finish. The planning incorporated all our requirements and concerns with the basement tanking. They worked meticulously and diligently throughout maintaining a clean work site. The end result has been spectacular, the image from the projector is sharp and vibrant (ISF Calibrated), the sound is breath taking from buildings falling down in Jame Bond Specter to subtle seasons in I am Legend it performs beyond my expectations. Most importantly it is a family-friendly cinema that everyone even my better half finds easy to use and the grandkids enjoy immensely. Thanks to everyone at SHC for making this such a pleasure from start to finish.
With this being a family cinema and our customer having the grandkids around regularly we needed to make sure everything was easy to control and seamless. We utilised Control4 to bring a central control system for the cinema and Lutron lighting so with a push of a button everything turns on, lights dim and the cinematic experience begins.

Kaleidescape provided the source for this cinema, so no need for physical media, and everything is available from the comfort of your seat.
